Wheat / Corn / Rice:
- Basal fertilizer: Apply in combination with soil preparation before sowing, using a balanced ratio (e.g., 15-15-15) to provide comprehensive nutrients needed for early growth and promote root and seedling development.
- Topdressing: During the jointing stage of wheat, the big bell mouth stage of corn, and the tillering stage of rice, apply high-nitrogen fertilizers (e.g., 20-5-10) to promote stem and leaf growth; supplement with high-potassium fertilizers (e.g., 10-5-20) during the filling / grain-setting stage to improve grain plumpness.
Leguminous crops such as soybeans / peanuts:
- Basal fertilizer should focus on phosphorus and potassium (e.g., 10-15-15), with reduced nitrogen usage (since rhizobia can fix nitrogen). Supplement with potassium fertilizer (e.g., 5-10-20) during the flowering stage to enhance lodging resistance and pod-setting rate.
- Cash crops
Vegetables:
- Leafy vegetables (lettuce, spinach): Use high-nitrogen fertilizers (e.g., 20-10-10) during the growth period to promote tender and plump leaves.
- Fruit vegetables (tomato, cucumber): Use a balanced ratio during the seedling stage; switch to high-phosphorus and potassium fertilizers (e.g., 10-15-20) during the flowering and fruiting stage to reduce excessive nitrogen-induced overgrowth, flower drop, and fruit drop.

- Other scenarios
