• 4-Hydroxy  usually appears as light yellow to brown powder or crystals. Its melting point is 169-173°C, which gives it good solid stability at room temperature. The boiling point is about 431.4±18.0°C, and the density is 1.362±0.06 g/cm³ (predicted value). In terms of solubility, the product is slightly soluble in DMSO , insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as DMF. Chemically, the pKa of 4-Hydroxy is about 9.87±0.30, which is weakly acidic and can participate in acid-base reactions under appropriate conditions. It is relatively stable at room temperature, but it needs to avoid contact with strong oxidants, high temperatures and open flames to prevent oxidation or combustion reactions.
