Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) Beads
EPS (Expandable Poly-Styrene) is a kind of lightweight polymer. It is the use of polystyrene resin added to the foaming agent, at the same time heating softening, gas production, forming a hard closed cell structure of foam plastic processing method of EPS can be divided into mode method and extrusion method according to different foaming ways. This uniform closed cavity structure makes EPS have the characteristics of small water absorption, good thermal insulation, light weight and high mechanical strength.The EPS beads are then molded into appropriate forms suited to their application.
