All polymer compounds containing epoxy groups in the molecular structure are collectively referred to as epoxy resins. Cured epoxy resin has good physical and chemical properties, it has excellent bonding strength on the surface of metal and non-metallic materials, good dielectric properties, small fixed shrinkage rate, good dimensional stability of products, high hardness, good flexibility, stable to alkali and most solvents, so it is widely used in national defense and national economic departments. It is used for casting, impregnating, laminating material, adhesive, coating and so on.
Application classification
1, glycidyl ester epoxy resin: glycidyl ester epoxy resin and diphenol epoxy resin compared, it has low viscosity, good use process; High reactivity; The adhesive force is higher than that of general epoxy resin, and the curing material and mechanical properties are better. Good electrical insulation; Good weather resistance, and has good ultra-low temperature resistance, under ultra-low temperature conditions, it still has higher bond strength than other types of epoxy resins. Has a good surface gloss, light transmission, good weather resistance.
2, glycidyl amine epoxy resin: the advantages of this kind of resin are multi-functional, high epoxy equivalent, high cross-linking density, and significantly improved heat resistance. The superior adhesion and heat resistance of glycidylamine epoxy resins have been used at home and abroad to manufacture carbon fiber reinforced composite materials (CFRP) for aircraft secondary structural materials.
3, alicyclic epoxides: These epoxides are prepared by the epoxidation of the double bonds of alicyclic olefins. Their molecular structure is very different from that of diphenol type epoxies and other epoxies. The epoxides of the former are directly connected to the alicyclic ring, while the epoxides of the latter are connected to the benzene nucleus or aliphatic hydrocarbon by epoxide propyl ether. The curing material of alicyclic epoxy resin has the following characteristics:
(1) high compressive and tensile strength;
(2) Long-term blasting can still maintain good mechanical properties under high temperature conditions;
(3) Good arc resistance, UV aging resistance and weather resistance.
4, aliphatic epoxy resin: the molecular structure of this type of epoxy resin is not only free of benzene nuclei, but also free of lipid ring structure. Only the fat chain, the epoxy group is attached to the fat chain. The strength, toughness, adhesion and temperature resistance of epoxidized polybutadiene resin after curing are good.
